i have to confess. Even after my interest in Clay plunged, I still think he's the best male singer off Idol. Well not anymore I guess...listen to this beautiful track by this year's Idol favorite (who happens to be openly gay):

i haven't heard a male voice that beautiful since Clay's, i guess. To Clay's defense, he never had professional training before Idol. Adam Lambert, on the contrary, has been recording songs and doing stage shows.
Still...i believe this guy should win this year's Idol. His voice is even better than David Archuleta's or David Cook's IMHO. And if I hadn't been turned off by his open gayness (which includes guyliner and scary makeup and photos of him making out with other guy), I could have liked him. He's likeable and down-to-earth on the show, not to mention being very gallant with the ladies. Which leads to the same ole question: why are good, attractive guys ALWAYS gays???
