have you ever stopped in the middle of doing things and think, "Hey, I've dreamed about this before"?
Well, i got that feeling every now and then, but in the past three days I've experienced as many as 3 deja vus. The first two happened two days ago, and only within hours of each other. My colleague made funny noises to incite laugh and I got the strangest feeling for a second that I've dreamed the scene. The same feeling hit again afterwards, when my friends and I were reading newspaper over lunch. The third deja vu happened a few minutes ago when I read report about Clay's phone conversation with a fan during a Celine Dion concert. This may be easier to explain since I've read about Clay talking with fans over the phone before, but it's still weird because I've never read the conversation and yet for a second I felt somehow familiar with it, as if I've read the report before. What worries me is that these "familiar" events, as far as I can remember, didn't lead to something good.
You see, since that stupid Friday somewhere in October when we had to implement my boss' brilliant QA system on an urgent project and had to work overtime (and piss each other off) as a result, I've been fretting for the same to happen again. Fortunately, it seems that everybody had decided to ignore the system for the rest of 2008. Today, our boss called us to a meeting to discuss about a new project that we have to complete in the next two days (today is Wednesday in this side of the world). And my worst nightmare come true: she told us to implement the QA system again. It's too much of a coincidence: we only have two days, the deadline is Friday, and we have to use the system. I have a feeling that this weekend isn't going to be my favorite weekend.
I wonder if my deja vus are simply the result of my paranoia, but it's impossible since I started having them three days ago (along with some weird dreams) and we didn't learn about the project until today. Could it be that deja vus are some sort of premonition?
I don't have time to mull it over. It has happened, and now I have to start working on the project if I want the editors to get on it earlier. I hope I'll still be alive next week... especially since Chinese New Year is only a few days away. Before I go though, I'd like to post some stuff I really enjoyed making in the last few days. It's my best photoshop work to date and they will forever remind me of what get me through in the toughest days.

Incredible job of putting those backgrounds behind the photoshops. They look so real. And I love that one that looks like a painting, too.
The deja vus...very weird. I hope this weekend doesn't turn out as bad as you expect.
those backgrounds were not made by me. It's a photoshop from the Korean actress' original pix *grins*. Oh and the weekend didn't turn out bad after all :)
